Coimbatore: It was widely reported that there had been deaths due to the polio vaccines offered in the government-sponsored camps earlier today. However, it turned out to be a hoax. There was one death of a 4 year old boy in Sathyaangalam who had gone through heart surgery and was also given the vaccination. The boy dies from complications and the exact cause is unknown at this point.
