Named in remembrance of the  famous freedom fighter V.O. Chidambaram, this park and zoo is the favorite place for children. This park is even a favorite amongst the elder ones. However, most of the attractions present in this park are for the young ones.

Some of the major attractions include the aquarium, a mini zoo and models of prehistoric dinosaurs. Apart from these there are also swings, sliders, seesaw, toy train and other play equipments wherein the children can enjoy a lot. This park is maintained by the Coimbatore Corporation.
