Coimbatore: The short film should focus on the dynamic history of Coimbatore or its rich culture. It can also throw light on the environmental issues and modernisation. Some of the aspects which can be dealt are the founders of modern coimbatore, the earth quake and plague which shook the city on 1900's, the tribes and rulers of Coimbatore, some of the institutions and legacy and brands of Coimbatore etc... Cultural places and cities which portrays the diversity and development over the years can also be depicted. A student can submit only one entry for each category. The length of the film should not exceed 10 mins. The best will be selected and awarded along with the screening on the final day of the Vizha i.e, January 11, 2009.
