Coimbatore: The Department of Statistics of Bharathiar University is organising a workshop on “Career Oriented Soft Skill Development in Statistics” on January 29 and 30. According to the university release, the workshop will provide a platform for students and scholars to understand the theory and practice of statistical concepts and to acquire skills towards using statistical software.
The event will be inaugurated by C. Sylendra Babu, Inspector General of Police, Special Task Force, Tamil Nadu.
