A multi adventure camp was organised by 5 Base Repair Depot, Air Force Station Sulur, one of the nodal centres for adventure activities in the Indian Air Force, in association  with National Adventure Foundation (NAF) from 27 to 28 Dec 08.

The Black Thunder Resorts, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore was the camp site for the adventure activities. The adventure activities included hot air ballooning, rappelling, river crossing, trekking and group activities. The objective of the camp was to foster the spirit of adventure, team work and provide positive environment for the all round
development of the air warriors of Air Force Station, Sulur. Seventy air warriors of 5 Base Repair Depot have attended the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Air Commodore PK Srivastava VSM, Air Officer Commanding, 5 Base Repair Depot, Sulur on 27 Dec 08. Mrs Shobhana Srivastava, who is President AFWWA (L) also participated and encouraged all the participants.
