The railwaygate located on the Pollachi Main Road between "SIDCO" and "EACHANARI"has been fitted with a new sound system that alarms the passers by and the speeding vehicles at the time of closing of the gate for railway operations
I drive thru this gate every day. The alarm is good but for those that are just crossing the gate and new to the place, it is frightening. I have observed at least few motorists panicked and about to make an accident. There should be a big warning sign that says there will be an alarm when the gate is about to close or something similar.
