Mrs. Shobhna Srivastava, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association,
Air Force Station Sulur visited the Mother Teresa Home for Aged at Coimbatore on 22 Dec 08.  She was received by the mother superior Benzita along with other sisters.  Mother Teresa Home for Aged has got more than 120 inmates.  The President distributed clothes, toiletries, stationeries etc to all the inmates of the home.  In addition, grocery items such as rice, contributed from the personnel of 5 Base Repair Depot, Air Force Station Sulur were handed over to the home. The inmates were very happy to see Mrs. Srivastava visiting them.  "We should be socially committed to look after all the agd and orphaned human being of our society" said Mrs. Srivastava.  The superior mother thanked Mrs. Shobhana Srivastava for the commitment shown by the Air Force Authorities owards the inmates of the home for which the later responded by promising more visits to the home from the family of soldiers.
